1979 -
Jydepejsen A/S is established by Jytte and Finn
Nielsen.
1983 - As the first producer Jydepejsen
A/S introduces vermiculite insulation of the
combustion chamber. The higher insulation values
provides a higher combustion temperature and
improves the combustion quality considerably.
1985 - Jydepejsen A/S introduces
wood-burning stoves with ceramic tiles. A
competitor to the ceramic fireplaces at that
time.
1989 - As the one of the first in the
trade Jydepejsen A/S develops pre-heated air for
combustion.
1990 - Jydepejsen A/S introduces the
first stove in the world with remote control for
regulating the air-valve. Since then the remote
control has bees among the permanent accessories
available.
1994 - Jydepejsen A/S is among the very
first companies, who develops stoves with
soapstone, and with the introduction of
"Multi-line2 and later "Land-art" Jydepejsen has
shown that it is possible to produce stoves with
the same effect as achieved by brick-built
fireplaces.
1998 - Jydepejsen A/S obtains " Unibanks
and Børsens Vækstpris" (Reward of growth). Is
placed as no. 28 among the fastest growing
companies in Denmark. Børsens-Vækstpris
1999 - New remote control with automatic
regulation of the air valve and with a
temperature alarm.
1999 - Jydepejsen A/S obtains an
environmental certificate according to the DS/EN
ISO 14001 principles . This means an improvement
of the environmental conditions and influences
